SHPO - can anyone explain?

If an SHPO relates only to online conditions, what does this mean in terms of other day-to-day restrictions ? - any ideas anyone ?
Hi,
it means that he can't delete browsing history, could have monitoring software installed by his visor and has to be extra cautious when online xxx

Thanks Disressed ! I get the online restrictions but what about in terms of contact with minors and around public places. Would these be specified if they applied ?
Yeah they'd be specified if they applied. Just exercise a common sense approach and supervise any contact with children at gatherings and events to prevent any accusations. We go out as a family but I'm always there to supervise. Also, I'd wait to get the all clear from ss if you have any children xxx
Thank you, it's for my son who lives in supported living, I am just wondering how his movements might be restricted as to where he goes. I expect someone will explain at some point. He is already on SOR x
To the best of my knowledge unless anywhere is specifically mentioned in his SHPO he can move freely. The sor is reporting requirements rather than the SHPO xxx
If he is in supported housing I would be interested to know if he has someone to handle his affairs? Does anyone have power of attorney for him?
Sadly, you cannot rely on someone to explain it all at some point. Ideally you need to get hold of a copy of the SHPO and read it for yourself.
The rules for the SOR, which are seperate from the SHPO, can be found online, although interpreting what they mean in practice can be difficult.
You are likely to get different opinions from the police, probation and social workers, as to what the rules are. For impartial advice though, you can always use the Unlock website or this forum. :-)
