My husband is currently under investigation. We are separated at present. I honestly don't know if We will stay apart or if I go back to him, once the situation with the police is resolved.
I am due to start teacher training in September and I'm concerned what impact this is going to have an my future career, if I go back to him.
Am I destroying my career before it even starts, if I go back to him?

Hi concerned101,
I would speak to the helpline. Also if you look in the LLF section I did a post a few weeks ago about disqualification by association, they directed me to a piece of legislation which protects people, including teachers. It appears only a issue if you child mind from home. Hope your okay and navigating yourself through this journey. It's a horrible situation we find ourselves in so stay strong. Your a separate person to your husband x

I am in your exact situation. If you still use this forum, please let me know what you have discovered regarding being a teacher.
The media always seems more interested in people in positions of power. What you do is of course your choice but if it hits the press? Average cases are taking up to 2 years. Your PGCE is 1 year, if you are taking that route. Just something to consider maybe. Of course it's your choice. Best of luck
