Hi, anybody got experience with OH changing their name to avoid media exposure? As well as worrying about a custodial sentence, this getting out into the public domain is my biggest worry. My OH is going to be charged imminently for IIOC and we are looking at changing his name prior to being charged in an effort to avoid media exposure and the backlash that could cause for me and the children. Thinking if we did it pre-charging that it won't then be read out in court, etc. although I appreciate there is still a chance his picture could make it online ????



OH is not currently living at our home (due to SS involvement and bail conditions), and after staying in hotels for months, has now rented a room in a shared house, so I'm hoping this means our family home address won't ever be made public.



The worry about what might happen is all consuming, trying to give our family every chance of being able to move forward in the future.



Any advice appreciated ????
