So my now ex husband broke his court order for the first time and accesses the internet on a phone he shouldn't have. He's also not allowed internet access. The police found it on him during one of their monthly visits
his CJSW and a family SW came to see me when he was out at an appointment. They told me it's not safe for him to live with us now he's broke that condition so obviously I said well he can't come back here. I was never going to pick him over my children.
I then was told later that same day that he can't see or call out children at all. (Both teenagers under 16) I was also told that a new safety plan is going to be put in place by SS and I won't find out what the is until he goes back to court for his SW review. Is it fair they stopped all contact? My daughter is seriously struggling with the not talking to him (she has additional support needs)

Do you have contact details for the sw? Could you get in touch with them and request a meeting? You could explain the impact that no contact is having on your daughter and try to reach a temporary solution like phone calls with the kids but on speaker phone with you in the room.
It is worth considering that he may have had the phone to reoffend and perhaps they are doing forensic reports on it. They could have stopped contact while they establish if your children are at risk xxx

They didnt take the phone away. It is still in my living room turned off (he no longer lives here obviously). I've spoke to the SW and she tells me it's still zero contact until the court date at the end of the month. Zero interest in how it's affecting my daughter.
