Pleaded guilty

So my partner pleaded guilty last week at he's pre sentencing and he had a unannounced visit from child protection at he's mums this morning so they've arranged for another meeting as he's working today . So my question is is it routine for them to do that? Knowing he has a probation meeting in a few weeks time than hes sentencing
Hi Mandy, does your partner have children and who do the safeguarding team work under, is it children's services or the police? My person wasn't visited by safeguarding but did receive an unannounced visit from the police VISOR which is standard practice once they've signed the SOR.
