Additional clauses to the Forum Agreement

Dear Forum Users,
We’d like to inform you that we’ve made two additions to the Forum Agreement—clauses 10 and 11 —to help clarify our moderation processes and ensure transparency for all users.
These updates will apply only to new users registering on the Forum from 03/11/2025 onwards, who will be required to agree to the updated terms. Existing users do not need to take any action, and your current access remains unchanged.
The new clauses are as follows:
10. Moderator Contact for Post Approval
Moderators may contact new users to request additional details about their situation if the initial information provided is insufficient to determine whether their participation aligns with the Forum’s purpose. This helps ensure appropriate moderation and safeguards all users.
Users are free to decide how much personal information they wish to share. Please note that LFF cannot be held liable for any consequences arising from the disclosure of offences unknown to the authorities, should this lead to LFF reporting the matter to relevant agencies.
11. Post and Account Removal Criteria
Moderators will remove posts and/or accounts that do not align with the Forum’s purpose.
To have posts approved, the following criteria must be met:
a. The post is from someone impacted by an offence committed by a person they know;
b. The offence involves online sexual offending towards children;
c. The offence is known to the authorities.
