Hi,
My person has now been asked to attend an interview.
Anybody have an idea of timescales from this point and can explain what happens next?
Thanks

Hello!
do make sure he takes legal representation with him to interview.
2nd interview is to go over whatever it is they have found.
The police then pass case to CPS.
CPS make a decision whether to prosecute and what for. Charges will then be given, with a court date.
Time scales vary. My husband was 6 months from 2nd interview to charges. Others are quicker.
Court date will be for a plea hearing. If your person pleads guilty they might get sentenced at plea, or they might be given a later date for sentencing. This also depends on the severity of the offence.
Basically, your person is at the beginning of the end, but it might be a while yet
