Devices being returned question

Hi
In october we got told nothing was found and all devices were being returned for my 17yr old son.
Got letter today to collect but xbox not listed. Emailed OIC and he said he had released phone and tablet but not xbox because he needed to check something. I've messaged to see what and awaiting response but now this as got my mind racing. OIC said devices checked and nothing found so that was end of it. They also said social media so we thought iPhone where he reported stuff.
I feel sick inside now. The reception was horrible when I collected the other items.
Anyone any idea if devices clear why they would delay sending xbox back.
Update: its now been released. And OIC did apologise for scaring me.

Glad it's all been sorted for you - it's something I will need to do shortly - we've been told that they can be released 28 days after sentencing once the OIC had closed the case at his end.
Hi Lostinthewoods
Even though everything was clear the actual walking into the police station was horrible because it brought back all the horrible memories of the knock and waiting in the police station for the duty solicitor. Hoping we can put it all behind us now.

I'm just not looking forward to contacting the OIC as he wasn't at all approachable and was quite unpleasant. I only need to email him but I'm dreading it to be honest.
Glad you're all got sorted in the end xx
