Anyone’s partner been put on tag or home detention curfew instead of a custodial scentence?

Hi there. The end is finally in sight for us as it's approaching the 11 month post knock and my 'partner' - father of my children's scentencing date is next month. It's been a long process of many court dates. Finally we're at the point where the pre scentencing report has been written up. His criminal justice social work has strongly suggested that he will be on Tag / home detention curfew instead of a custodial scentence. He was found guilty of very few (less than 3) images back in May 2019.
Although we haven't been officially together since the knock, My thoughts are that I can support him on this journey as much as I strongly disagree with what he's done and how he's ruined our family. I am hopeful that in time, with plenty of trust and support we may be able to come together as a family again in the future. He has been told that whilst he is on tag he won't be able to stay with us in the family home between 7pm-7am
We are in Scotland but just wondering has anyone else had their partner go on tag instead of prison and how long does it usually last if so.
Thanks x

Hi there.
I'm from Scotland so I thought our position might be a similar one albeit no cases seem to be the same.
My ex partner reports recommended community service and that he was low risk. His number of images were low on the grand scale of things as majority of cases I've read online they're all in the thousands or high hundreds. His lawyer also stated he would be willing to be on a tag as part of his conditions but it's not found any cases where a tag has been given although read loads where community service has been given especially if they plead guilty. My ex was given a custodial sentence which at the time was hugely difficult but he seems to be hoping well considering.
I'd like to think if your ex only has been found with a few, depending on the category he wouldn't be given a custodial for that amount ?
The biggest part is the SO register which I feel like it will impact him and his relationship he has with our child due to the supervised contact and our living arrangements.
