My brother in law was arrested 3 years ago on suspicion of online grooming of 13 year old girls and iioc. He has admitted his guilt. My sister has a little 8 month old baby girl with him. Ss are involved. My sister still loves her husband and wants to be with him. As a family we are struggling so much to understand how she can want someone like that in her life. She doesn't seem to be concerned that he could be a risk to her little girl in the future or understand the consequences of what he has done. She has totally buried her head in the sand. We came to this forum for support, and I’ve been surprised by the number of people who seem comfortable maintaining relationships with men who have engaged in these behaviours, even around their own children. I’m not judging anyone at all. I’m just surprised by the level of forgiveness and understanding that many mums seem to be showing toward these men. I don’t want my brother-in-law to have any contact with my niece. I’ll never forgive him. Is anyone else feeling this way?
