Thats it really. My ex's case has been with the CPS for coming up on 9 months (IIOC related). This has to be some kind of record surely? How does it take this long? For context its eight deleted images. And he's seriously considering pleading not guilty so it'll probably be several more years before he sees the inside of a court. Just venting really!

That's ridiculous having to wait nine months I was told that once it had gone to the CPS they had 28 days in which to decide on what charges to proceed with obviously I've been told things wrongly I contacted my OH police officer and he told me that he had sent details to the CPS and he was hoping to be able to let him know what charges were going to be brought soon so I don't know. I mean it's bad enough. He's had to wait nearly 2 years since the knock before any charges have been brought against them I really hope you get a reply soon for your own sanity of nothing else xx

CPS took well over a year in "our" case. It took over 3 1/2 years to get to sentencing with many adjournments for court delays which we were only ever notified about the night before! Its truly exhausting and only getting worse.
