Hi all I pop in now and again we are almost 2 years in February since conviction spent, since media coverage and this year I have put my outdoor Christmas tree back up I feel a little vulnerable but this has had too much space in my head for too long, we had keyboard warriors but nothing said to our faces nothing to the house still live in same house, so dont really know why I still let the stigma rule me, it was one click 5 images deleted immediately all proven in court so why do we allow our minds to be ruled by what others think.....

Its been 7 years and I still worry about what others think although it was never put on social media I still worry about it coming out somehow. Its difficult as I stayed with him but I know family members think it was the wrong thing to do.
I would like to tell you it gets easier but not sure the worry about others finding out will ever go away.
Hang in there and get all the support offered.

Hello. Thankyou for sharing. Did your person get a conviction even though they were able to prove it was accidental?

Yes was still convicted as he never reported it to the police, he deleted and put it to the back of his mind, I dont know many people who would go to thr police to admit something like this happened, we chose to stay at magistrates court perhaps crown court would have seen a not guilty
