Do you ever get unsupervised after plea?

My person is awaiting their first date after being out on bail - SS have closed the case with us and just said they'll be back in touch after sentencing. He is only allowed supervised contact with our son (by me, unlimited) and he no longer lives in the home.
However, I am pregnant and due to give birth not long after sentencing and I'm just trying to get my head around the potential that he'll be sentenced and be able to be unsupervised around the kids. Mainly because otherwise I'm going to have no sleep ever again and I do worry about the impact of all of this trauma, lack of sleep and potential PPD.
His was communication, no photo, no intent to meet, no priors, vigilante sting.
Had anyone had unsupervised back in the home after sentencing?

Hi,
my partner is allowed unsupervised in the home but we waited 4 years to get to this point. My advice would be to wait until a few months after sentencing to see what his probation officer and offender manager think about the risk posed to your children. You should be able to request a meeting with them to get their views on unsupervised and returning home. I completely understand your worries about the potential decline of your own mental health following the birth and added pressure of solo parenting in this situation. What support do you have from the wider family or friends? How comfortable are you seeking mental health support? Anything that you can put in place before the birth to support your own wellbeing would be helpful xxx

Are you in a country thar has a perinatal mental health team? They helped women from pregnancy till their child is 2 with mental health. They were amazing for me. I was signed posted to them while undergoing therapy. They helped me soo much! Because I got really bad depression after having mine and they were there for me when the knock happened.
I would speak to family and see who can help you out.

I no longer had to supervise after sentencing. It was listed on my OH's list of restrictions in court but I questioned it and it was removed.
Always hopeful
Did you question it in court at the time or subsequently?

Hey we got unsupervised from the court but my husband had done pocession and distribution. We havent started unsupervised contact yet. He is having an assessment to determine if he is a preditor or not, which is being funded by SS. Depending what that comes back with. We will then have a plan to go forwards with.
Im just glad sentencing is over. I was at my whits ends with my SW supervisor. All she ever did was focus on was disproportionate punishments. Like he will not be allowed within 700 meters of schools and playground. And he could go to prison for 5 to 10 years (yes these are examples given to me). I want to work with SS with the facts not id whats and maybes.
