Advice please

Around 12 months ago we had the knock. My OH was picked for talking on line to a 15yr old girl but was actually an undercover officer. They have taken his phone away which he swears theres nothing on it no photos or other conversations.
Since then he is on bail and both of us have had lots of counselling . It came out that he had gone on line to seek advice and see if he could pick up his sexual feelings as he was struggling with his low libido (which I obviously knew about) I just wish he had talked to me about how he was feeling.
He had gone onto an adult site and he says he was told at the beginning of the conversation she was older . After getting flirty he said some sexual stuff she told him she was actually only 15 he said he thought she was role playing so went along with it.
And said some more sexual stuff . I've been to hell and back 90% of the time I believe him that it was all about his low libido but still get times when I just dont know.
I'm just wondering has anyone had something similiar happen to them?
Did they get charged ?
If so what did they get?
