Hi All, if anyone has a ASD son who is their person who received a custodial sentence & is in prison can you please private message me when you have time?

I have been told yesterday by the solicitor that this will definitely be the outcome of his case, the only variable will be for how long. We haven't told him yet, we've been assuring him we don't think that will happen but have now been told we need to prepare him for this. He has said if he goes to prison he'll kill himself. I am also worried sick, literally, about the media coverage of his case as it is more serious than the charges I read about on here. I honestly feel like ending my life too to make the pain,worry & anxiety go away, but I would never abandon my son or leave my husband to deal with this alone. My son has had such a difficult, sad & unhappy life it is so painful as a mother that I couldn't change that.
