Holiday query

My person and I have separated. He's only allowed supervised visits. 10yr SHPO and no overnights with our child until they're over 16-were a while away from that so no idea how that would work with supervision etc.
before my ex's offending a big group of us would go on holiday together - to a child friendly holiday park. My child keeps asking when they can go and my ex has been making excuses saying we will go back just not this year, and basically putting off telling them he can't go.
I dont want to go on holiday with my ex, he hasn't told any of his friends including those who would usually go with us about his offending (and he wont want to tell them), the t&cs of the holiday park ban him, the SHPO, and I don't think his offender manager would be pleased with him going to children's holiday park for a week during his suspended sentence period.
I dont want him getting my child's hopes up for something that can't happen; Im also nervous about him going and that it breaks the rules and would be completely stressed out about the supervision, someone finding out and my child being stuck in the fallout (potentially being kicked out of the park or people saying stuff about their dad in front of them). Does anyone know if it's actually possible?!
I hate lying and watching then get excited about a promise that can't be kept.
