Over a year ago, I moved to a new town with my children. Their Dad, my ex, chose to move as well to be close to his children, which I have no issue with.

We were signed off by social services where we used to live but the police advised the ones in the new area and a new assessment was done. Since we are now separated we are both required to be interviewed by a psychologist who will judge whether he has supervised or unsupervised contact going forward (it is currently supervised as requested by s/s).

I find this prospect highly stressful. Has anyone had a similar experience and what kinds of questions were you asked by the psychologist?

Thanks in advance.

I've not had a psych, but I've had CAFCASS and other professionals due to my ex trying to gain unsupervised access.

Some of the questions were very personal and tbh I said I wasn't comfortable him getting to know my answers as simply it was none of his concern and it wasn't about my parenting. They even accessed my medical records, which he again has no right to be told about in a report! It's just another way I've felt punished despite me not committing the crime! Hopefully it isn't like my experience x
