Hi all,

New here.

My father had the knock back in November. I have a 3 year old daughter and although I don't live at the same house, I have still had to go through the whole process with SS which feels like it's never ending and is causing anxiety.

This has also impacted my relationship with my partner (daughters father) which was already falling apart before all of this.

I was wondering whether there is any body in my situation? I feel so lonely.

Not quite the same situation as the knock was my husband, but my little girl is 2 and half and is struggling really badly with the restrictions placed by SS. Have been offered absolutely no support from them for either of us. She's throwing tantrums like never before, hitting, crying, telling me she's sad and begging for her Daddy back. But apparently SS know what's best for her, not me, her mother. It's not affecting her apparently and this isn't impacting her wellbeing.

Not much help but just know you aren't alone. The consensus seems to be that SS are often doing more harm than good x
