My husband has had his work laptop and phone and personal devices seized by police for being under investigation for pics of 12/13 yr old girls in leopards and sexualized content about 13 yr old girls sleeping with adult men. Myself and my grown up Daughter saw some, but my husband says he does not have any more. Because he is a lier it's very difficult to believe him. He has had his bail extended once already, and getting towards the extended bail date that was due to take place next week has been a very stressful time. Just been informed his bail has been extended by another 3 months (taking it up to 9 months in total) with police interview now taking place in April. I'm very confused and uncertain what this means as is my Daughter. Could this mean they have found more indecent images and could find him guilty? Any advice gratefully received.

Thank you in advance

My OH had his bail extended 3 times (9 months in total) then was charged at his second interview - police decoy conversation so not a 'real' child. They also found 2 images and multiple chats where age could not be verified.

It's not unusual for bail to be extended multiple times

My husbands bail was extended 3 or 4 times (I lost count). Once they get the data back from forensics they call them in for a second interview. Its basically his last chance before it goes to CPS to say anything at all to the police. He will then go back on bail. Bail basically ends when theyre sentenced really

Hi Sunshine and rainbows

Thank you for getting back. So sorry that you are going through this too.

Has your Husband been to court yet? If you don't mind me asking, what was the outcome?

It's a lot to go through and to take in. How are you coping? X

Hey, he was sentenced to 12 months custodial sentenced to be served as a two year suspended sentence. He has to do like 150 hours of unpaid work and he paid a fine. 5 years SHPO and 10 years on the register. He had done possession and distribution of IIOCs. We knew it would likely be a suspended sentence as thats the minimum for distribution.

Our next step is working on getting back to one household as we have a child. Luckily our daughter is thriving and this whole experience hasn't affected her (she was a baby when he was arrested so this is just normal to her).

I was in burn out prior to his arrest. I have PPD and I just went into my survival safe mode. Im a little bit explosive due to it all but im working on it as I refuse to let my daughter see any fights even verbal ones.
