Hi I got the knock on the door on April 25. It was an alligation that my partner has sexally assulted a 12 yo.they have been bailed for the fifth time and also been interviewed a sepcnd time.

Whilst they seized my partner's electric devices they found 30 indecent images ranging from catagory a, b and c.

My partner claimed the images were a result of downloaded a program you buy as a key. My partner thought they had deleted them.

I am inovled with ss due to my mental health. My children are currently removed under section 20. I will be hopefully having them back as the assessments have been completed.

I think one reason I am getting thmr back is because I have changed my view on my partner. I found out they were having sex with people as well.

I went through the report with my.solictor and sw. It showed all the types of images which made me physically sick. My partner said they had deleted the images straight away. However that is not what is on the police report. They looked at the images 4 times. My partner also stored the images on two memory sticks.

Then there is the search history aswell and them looking at ""amateure school girls". I'm a bit confused does this mean school girls I don't know.

My views have changed about partner and now I want to go seperate ways. However not sorted out yet as we see my children at the contact centre although I have had separate time away from the centre and in the community.

I just feel that if they were accidental they why did they delete the images straight away why has he viewed them four times. I feel stuck at the moment because we have our bills paid together and he doesn't live at the property because I'm in the block of flats and the person that made the allegation is in the block of flat so part of their bail condition is that they can't come back which is a relief in one sense. I just don't know what to do with all the stuff that belongs to them how do you deal with this if you have ever tried to separate.

And finally my partner is due to go back to be rebailed at the police station in march however when I spoke to the main inspector dealing with their case he said in December time that the case would last six more months investigate in and then this will come into an end.

Do you think you they get charged and do you think they will have likelihood of a prison and sentence?

They will be charged as a bare minimume pocession of IIOCs. Police will push hard to make sure the original arrest accusations are also charged for. it depends how much evidence there is to what CPP will do though ( I only know this side because a friend was SA in 2023 and there just wasnt enough evidence - no DNA just physical damage- it was her word against his and CPP went due to lack of DNA they wouldnt support proceedings to court. It was horrible knowing he got away with it). I just wanted you to know this so youre prepared this could or could not also be on the charge sheet.

Giving him his stuff back it really depends if you want to see him. You could get family to help that way you dont have to ser him
