My husband had his devices seized in July 2025. Results have come back this week and he is due to go for a "voluntary" interview next week.

He's been told that everything will be sent to CPS after his interview. What does this mean in terms of what they've found? Is this normal process? And how long do people usually have to wait to hear back on whether the CPS are going to charge? I've been living in hell since the knock and also in hope it would be NFA but clearly that's not happening. We are West Midlands if that info helps for timelines.

It always goes through cps who weigh up the evidence and decide whether the case is prosecutable. They take a few weeks to decide. Then its another few weeks til court. Sometimes the timelines can be longer, esp in complicated cases, or if there is a lot of evidence to go through.

Correct me if i'm wrong, someone :)
