My person is due to appear at crown on Monday after pleading guilty at magistrate last month
my question is will he be sentenced that day or is the process longer than that ?

They usually get sentenced on the day, unless the judge requires more information.

My OH has just pleaded guilty at Magistrates Court and now has a date for Crown Court. I really don't know how to deal with all of this, we have been together many years I just can't get my head around it all. I am concerned about him getting a prison sentence and it all coming out. The shame I feel from this is breaking me. I never thought I would ever go through something like this or that my OH would ever have done something like this. Just goes to show we never truly know someone.
