Leaving partner and bringing up baby alone.

Hi ladies.
I was wondering if anyone on here left their partner/ husband when pregnant with their child.
I have a child from a previous relationship and am expecting my ex’s baby. In addition to dealing with shock, grief over what I have lost, concern for my ex and horror over what he has been doing, I’m having to face up to fact that I’ll be bringing up my baby alone. Does anyone have any practical advice in terms of support, who to talk to about legal issues re access etc.
I don’t know all the details about what he has done. It is early days and I don’t expect any sort of ‘resolution’ for at least a year.
I have my own place to live and income so don’t have to worry about that at least.

Hope you’re holding up ok. Our due dates are 1 month apart. Hope your pregnancy is going well in spite of this nightmare we are being forced to live in. I will post on here if I find anything that may address what we are wanting to know.

I feel the same way; my baby will be loved and I will provide a safe loving home for my children. I’m not sure how I’ll cope, it’ll be hard, but focusing on the practicalities of what I need to do is helping. Every morning I remind myself of everything I am grateful for( my son, my baby, those whom I love, my health) At least I know the truth now ( or the gist of it at least) We have done nothing wrong, we just loved and trusted. Xx
