What do I do?

My fiancé was arrested and bailed on Tuesday on suspicion of IIOC from 2024. He's saying he's told me the truth about what he actually did but I can't help not trusting him. Obviously the bail conditions are no unsupervised contact with minors and luckily we have no children. He's been suspended from work on full pay but our lease is due to run out just before he's due back to custody In April. My life as I knew it feels over. I just don't know what to do. I feel like it's my fault and that I should have seen something. I don't know if this would be something I could get past. He's literally never shown any signs of anything and has basically been my carer on his days off. He volunteers with the homeless and cares for vulnerable adults for his job. Why did he do this? What do I do? He hasn't been told what would happen if he was to be charged or anything. Sorry I'm rambling but I just needed to get it all out on a forum of people who have been through similar as I just feel like an alien.
Hello,
My partner of almost 8 years was also arrested recently for the same. I've thought about if I could have noticed anything but what I've come to realise is you trust the person you know (or thought you knew I suppose). Did I ever think in a million years he'd be upstairs doing something like that whilst I was downstairs watching tv? Absolutely no way. We can't blame ourselves as it was their choices that have caused this devastation. Sending you love and feel free to message if you want to talk xx

Its a lot to take in, so do take your time to allow yourself to process it all. It is unlikely that things will move forwards by the end of his first bail. Youre looking at a minimum of 6 months for forensics to come back. From there it can be another 6 months plus for court. Its not a fast process at all.
Its hard to know what to believe. My husband never denied anything and just kept saying he had f*cked up and was beyond sorry. He promised me it was only IIOCs offences and nothing more server and he had told me the truth because the police had already confirmed this anyways
