The StopSo therapist will obviously have huge experience in this area and I'd take a deep breath and engage really seriously with what they are saying, especially as others (the police) have come to the same conclusion. Therapists with relevant expertise will have more experience and objectivity than you or me (which in my case means I sometimes having to accept that they have a more positive view of my ex than I do ????....and I do need to listen to that).

And again I know the police can be really crap, but they do see the repeat offenders, so I wouldn't necessarily dismiss their assessment.
