Hi everyone, it's my first time here and I'm really anxious about everything. We got the knock on Oct 1st and he's due to be sentenced on 27th Feb. It was a undercover police op so he's definitely guilty of sexual penetration x2 (online) and turning up to meet a girl aged 13 (police decoy). Apparently nothing else other than porn has been found. My two boys aged 12 and 10 heard the police at the door and my eldest overheard 'sexual communication online.' I have since disregarded it and told them I would share facts after sentencing. They haven't seen him since Oct and don't know his sentencing is coming up as I think that would make them more anxious. Basically, I don't know how much/what to tell them. I think he's likely to get custodial but will never allow them to visit him in prison. I've suggested they write to him but they haven't yet and I don't want to push them. Any advice/ suggestions/ experiences? I can't support him through this as I work with children and could lose my job.
