Does social services always expect person to leave family home after sentencing or does it depend on what the sentence is? Just wondering whether he should start looking now? I'm also supporting and standing by my person due to bad mental health. He's charged with x4 cat A, x16 cat B, x60 cat C and x1 distribution cat B. Plea hearing March. He also has previous unrelated sexual offence that happened in 2016 and was put on register for 10 years (judge wanted to make example of him). He's been RUI since August last year and allowed home with safety plan, social services closed. Hoping for a suspended sentence and not prison as I really don't think he would survive going there and I worry so much about his mental health. Since charges came in the post, he has been in a hospital due to attempt on his life :(
Hopefully people with cases closer to yours will be along soon, but from what I've read here over the years I'd be really surprised if he doesn't have to move out, especially given the distribution and previous offending. Moving out seems to be the default even for lesser charges.
