So the husband was sentenced just over a week ago and was told to contact the lead police officer in order to obtain the devices that were found to have nothing on. He has since recived an email from said officer only to be told that the equipment taken on his second arrest hasn't even been examined yet!?

He has told me there is nothing on any of these devices but how could they not finish their investigation before charging him??? I just dont get it. So angry at the situation. Has anything like this happend to anyone else?

If they did find something I presume he will go straight to jail.

They arrested him the second time as they found evidence on the first set of devices they took. When they arrested him they took his phone and another computer.

I just cant believe they are allowed to charge without finishing their investigation.

You say he was sentenced but also charged. Has he been given a sentence such as a suspended sentence? Or has he been told what he is charged with? If it is the latter they may still have more time to investigate but have enough evidence to out the charges to him. I hope that makes sense. It doesn't make sense for them to look into devices after a sentence but I could be wrong

They charged him and he got a suspended sentence. The lead officer did say they had enough to charge because when he read they still had devices they hadn't examined he got really mad and sent her an email asking how this was.

They didnt even bother to tell us this we just thought I was all over after court a week ago.
