OIC no longer doing bail checks, is this normal?

Is it normal for the OIC to stop doing bail checks during their investigation? Because after my brothers initial arrest for a sexual communication with a child (real not decoy) he had bail checks every 4/5 weeks where the OIC would visit to update developments and update on how his devices were coming along. Now this week the OIC said he no longer can keep coming because it involves too much driving when the OIC doesnt know if my brother is going to be in or not. I was rather shocked at this considering how they smashed into his home without a warrant, yes no warrant and took everything electrical leaving without even any list of items seized. Police at the time said tbey didnt need a warrant.
Now devices have been examined he doesnt get a single word or peep from the OIC not even a text or call to see how hes getting on. So my question is if hes so dangerous, then why no bail checks or is this normal for everyone? Should he take this as a sign that evidence remains weak on the allegation and that nothing has been found on devices? Im sure if images and sexual chats had been found he would've had a check up by now....or at least a check on his current devices.
Even in his bail conditions there are no internet restrictions considering this was an online offence.

Normal, I would say. We didn't have any checks during bail period at all, in fact I don't recall hearing of them before. Now, post plea hearing and being on the SOR, the OM can arrive unannounced at any time.
