I'm in the researching everything as a way of coping stage at the moment as my partner and I wait for the police to finish investigating (we have months of this ahead of us).

Unsurprisingly, my thoughts have turned to worst case scenarios and my employment future.

Does anyone have any experience with how disqualification by association affects people like nannies and tutors who provide childcare and education in a domestic setting (but not in their own home like a childminder).

I've read so much stuff on the internet today about how domestic settings are covered by DbA but the examples seem to be childminders in their personal homes.

Thank you.

As far as I'm aware Disqualification by Association was scrapped in 2018. If you work with children in THEIR home, not yours, you should be OK as your DBS is clear. However if anyone decided to tell your employer about your partner, it could cause problems.
