Social services once sentenced

Could anyone tell me what the process of SS involvement is once OH is sentenced please?
had the knock may 2024, bail was no living at home and no unsupervised contact. A year later, changed to RUI, SS done another assessment and said he's allowed to live at home just no unsupervised contact with safety plan and closed to us. I've always been able to supervise contact. This was due to 1x distribution cat b image only. Fast forward to two weeks ago, OH got charges x4 cat a, x16 cat b, x60 cat c and x1 distribution cat b. Plea hearing set for mid March. SS contacted me for separate reason due to OH attempting to end his life, and will be getting family well being support due to mental health.
could anyone advise me on what happens next please? Once sentenced, would I still be able to supervise contact in our own home? I take it he will be told he can no longer live at home? Hoping that him being able to be at home before goes in our favour. He's currently in a psychiatric hospital due to not being able to cope with what's happening :(
any advice on safety plan and making it strong enough for social services to allow him back home with supervised contact?

I don't have any advice as you're further down the path than we are, and it's my 18yo son so different circumstance (though he's not allowed to sleep at home atm so can relate). I wanted to reach out and offer support, am really sorry your OH is struggling so much. It really is such a brutal process that disrupts and ruins whole families. Whilst can't get away from the terrible nature of these offences and need to hold them to account, they are not all terrible people and everyone deserves a second chance. I hope he can see a way forward soon and SS are supportive. Take lots of care x
