After the shock of being interrogated after my husband answered "no comment " during his own interview by the police, I have had to see a GP and was signed off work for two weeks for "acute stress reaction". I am now very worried about returning to work as I am unsure how much I will have to disclose during my return to work interview. Can I just leave it to personal issues ? I am not ready to talk to anyone about all this nightmare yet. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks .

Hi shell at the beginning I was advised by the police to be careful who I told as there is a possibility no charges would be bought. I would say you don't want to discuss it at the moment but are OK to return to work.

Shell, say nothing. The GP said its acute stress and that is all they need to know. You do not need to tell anyone anything, in time it may come out but this is not your offence sweetheart. X
