Not Guilty Cornered into A Guilty Plea

I'm so done with this system. Just want to get my anger out and hopefully some of you will resonate with this.
We had our hearing today. Lawyer told us that these cases never end well and guilty plea is our only option because we will be found guilty so this is our chance to get least severe punishments. The facts are: husband received a message with indecent images attached to it and police received a tip, husband never opened them (and metadata don't show otherwise) and lawyer tells us that judges are 'brainwashed to see what they want to see' in response to my 'what about no knowledge of posession?'. Sadly, I trust him cause he could charge us quadruple the amount for non-guilty plea and warned us of need to hire independent forensics which can run even into £50K and said that in his 20 years of experience with those cases, nobody has benefited from doing so.
I also experienced the injustice my husband went through because the police has lied to his employer about him refusing to provide passwords, being rude and images being on all his devices which is complete BS!!! I was there when he gave passwords, my husband was so polite and without an issue he even gave them devices that were in other rooms than those searched and the evidence is as stated above. This is one of many lies the police fed the press/judges/employer and they can get away with it.....I was told at most, we could get apology if we decided to file a case against the police officer. Honestly, how are they benefiting from ruining people's lives so much?
We lost all our savings and a big source of income. I am scared to leave the house because of the press and before anyone attacks me for blindidly trusting my husband but I have seen the evidence and any rational person would just go "what the ****?!!!" I still don't understand how they went after my husband who hasn't solicited anything not the person who sent this and then went on the journey of ruining our lives.
Sadly, I have friends who also went to jail for terrorism charges (attending a protest). Don't get me started. I am so fed up with this BS and can only sympathise with those constantly in press who are attacked cause now I know how an innocent live can be subjected to such injustice.
I am so sorry to anyone going through this and to think the system can get away with it is so shattering. So many innocent lives probably lost due to this! The anger makes sense. The grief makes sense. The disbelief makes sense. What you’re describing is the shock of having your sense of fairness and order ripped away. I hope this post gains some replies as I am certain you are not alone. I know myself how brutal and impersonal these processes can be.
