I'm beyond stressed and emotionally totally drained that I'm back on this forum. That's absolutely not derogatory to anyone on here, but let's be honest none of us want to be here.

i might be wrong, but feel my position is slightly different than most. I'm scared to detail that as it might identify me.

i am a parent of someone on a SHPO. They were given a community order, community service & required to work with probation. All of these have been adhered to.

They have now been arrested again, failure to declare some things, all of which were shared with Offender Manager who has not supported my son at all, not redirected him and quite blatantly ignored him, but then at first opportunity reported him!!! My son is an adult but is showing autistic tendencies, some of his papers are not clearly documented! In addition to this items have been listed on this arrest which are for example old phones, which were on site at primary arrest but have not been touched or used since!

bail has been refused. I'm not coping well and he's absolutely not coping at all.

where do we go from here?

I'm so sorry, I wish I could say something that would help, wanted you to know I've read your message and am thinking of you. Have to got people in your life supporting you during this?

It's so difficult to share for support. Let's be honest, everyone outside of this community judges you and it's not "you" who's committed an offence.

I really don't know where to go for support. My situation is so unique, I just cannot detail on here. It's seriously killing me ??.

Athena , I am so sorry I don't know what to say to ease your mind in any way except to say that you have so many caring people on here rooting for you, we are all hurting with our own battles but try and support one another x

I’m so sorry you find yourself back here again. I can really sense how much despair you’re carrying right now. I don’t have the right words to make it better, but I didn’t want to scroll past without letting you know that I hear you and that you matter. It makes sense that you’d feel overwhelmed. If you haven’t already, you might consider contacting the helpline for some confidential support, you don't have to carry this alone.

It's such an isolating position to be in, isn't it, especially if your situation is more unique than others

So sorry you're going through this, sounds incredibly traumatic for you and your son. The helpline might be a good place for support and a solicitor for advice as sounds complicated. It's hard enough the first time, can't imagine the pain and anguish this brings. You found the strength the first time and you can again, one day at a time. Glad that you've reached out here. Let us know how you are in the days ahead and hope you can get some advice and support on the specifics x
