Any ideas how long CPS take? Just feel like we are left hanging waiting. Bail date has been extended again just want to know the outcome either way. Some days are better than others but it's the late night over thinking that then keeps you awake with the unanswered questions going through your mind.

'My' case is almost 12 months on from the second interview....my ex's solicitor was given to understand that it went to CPS straight after that, so they've taken almost a year! That is very unusual though.

Nearly 4 months i think it was. I was quiet suprised with how quick it all was really as I know some people wait a while. I guess it depends how complex it is.

Oh CPS have finally charged him (making all categories). No idea why it took a year? All I can do now is the best for my children - the mess he's made of his own life is 'not my circus, not my monkeys'

Thank you for replies.

Is bail different once the case goes to CPS for a decision where they don't need to goto court for an extension? Goggle giving mixed messages.
