Husband just had meeting with solicitor about plea hearing and went over the evidence. It was just a basic summary of what they found but nothing else. Nothing about searches or if they were viewed etc. is this normal? Solicitor said he could get the full forensic report but won't get it in time before the plea hearing so if it's a 'no plea' then he would loose the 'discount' for early guilty plea. I don't know if it would change anything I guess I just thought we would know more.

surely though if he didn't search for them or view them it would indicate he didn't know they were there in the first place? Solicitor also mentioned that if he does a not guilty plea we could be waiting up to 2 years!

The police will tend to present their evidence in a way that supports their case. They want to make the person look as bad as possible. So if there were any searches for illegal material, they would be certain to mention that, as it strengthens their argument.
