My Partner still maintains innocence despite a recent guilty plea .... I don't know what to believe the worst has already happened
I think maintaining innocence can be a red flag especially if pleading guilty. Unintentional is very different to innocent. Accepting wrong doing even if unintentional is very important to moving forward and changing behaviour. But I don't know the circumstances at all. Sounds very difficult, fake lots of care.
