Hello everyone
At least the sun is shinning and the rain has stayed away.
This last week has been busy and i had the day off from work today as i have been feeling so tired lately. Walked my furbabies and managed to have a nice meal with friends who dont know the situation. So it is a nice break for a few hours.
The weather is helping and I hope everyone manages a few minutes to just breathe and feel the sun in your face. We have all survived another week.
Please post if you want to whether it is positive from the last week or negative. We are all here to help each other and to listen. Xx

I watched the film LEON a few days ago, its a about a gunman who develops a friendship with a 12 year old girl who he teaches basic tricks of the gangsta world.
There are deep scenes where she makes sexual advances towards him. Makes me think if this was real life would it be classed as grooming and him arrested? Or am i just being one of those old fashioned "karens" that need to get a grip!!
Be interesting to hear about others opinions on that movie?

I'm quite into cinema and the background to Leon was...interesting. IIRC the actor who played Leon pushed back against the director, who wanted to sort of sexualise the whole relationship. So it is controversial. But its a long time (pre ex's carry on) since I read this so I'm going off memory.
The sun has definitely helped this week and has got us through another week of waiting.

The nice weather really helps doesn't it? Things are, dare I say it, relatively positive at the moment. Thinking of all those struggling and sending positive thoughts. I won't lie that there are still very dark moments but the sun (literally and metaphorically) is making an appearance xx

My week was really crap unfortunatelly plus a little nasty cloud was sitting all exactly over our town
On Leon: When I was 13-15 I was groomed by a man who was 10 years my major. He recommended the movie to me and I remember when I watched it i felt that he wanted to see me in the girls role and himself as Leon.
This bloody miserable creature...
So, feedback from my side, the movie definatelly attracts applause from the wrong side o.O

I watched Leon many years agao. I found the charactor very creepy and did not like it much, hence never watching it again even though we have a copy in the house. Interestingly my OH thought the film was wonderful. Not sure to take anything from that!

I am reading a book The Let Them Theory by Mel Robbins. It was a book recommended by a good friend. It is quite an easy read and can easily skip parts if get too complicated. I dip in and out of it. But i am finding it a real help when my head gets into a mess with the situation I am in.
PS I wish we could put emoji on the chat. These days i find it easier to express my feelings in this way. Does anyone else agree?
