My OH is being charged, communication charge on 4 counts. These were decoy conversations. No images involved.

Magistrates court date is 21.04. Wondering if there is anyone else who has gone through and share any insight? I am doing a letter for court but do I have to be there? Is it likely to go to Crown Court? Many thanks.

It depends what type of communication offence, but will almost certainly go to the crown for sentencing. You do not need to attend. Just pass your letter on to his solicitor.

Hi there. My person was charged with two communication offences. It was decoys also. He's a year past sentence. It went to crown court. He received a 12 month sentence suspended for 18 months. Also 10 years on both the SOR and SHPO. There are real inconsistencies in sentencing though but hope this is helpful x
