we don't know what happened, been waiting on forensics for over a year. teenage children are struggling. What support is in for the children of offenders or potential offenders? How is this allowed? Their mental health is on the floor but it I say that I'm not taking the charges seriously.

Please refer to your social worker who should put you in touch with local mental health teams. Also speak with schools safeguarding team as they may have support there as well. It's awful when the kids are affected by someone else's choices and as the other parent you have to hold everyone together and often get the brunt of the emotional outbursts. Take care

I feel you! We are also a year from the knock and my children are struggling too. I have four all under 7 so the oldest of the two are really effected as their little lives were turned upside down. Hold on in there!! Message if you want too x
