Hello everyone,

I hope everyone is having a nice weekend.

The last week has been challenging for me but I survived. Got so stressed at the beginning of the week that i was getting chest pains. Since the knock i have started suffering from a few things, which could be my age or due to stress living in this environment day in day out. I am suffering from high blood pressure and now got a few things that are in their early stages. I cannot go on like this. My home is peaceful once again, but for how long? I have no idea on how i going to move forward, but i must for me health. Thinking on going back to therapy. I wish i was a stronger person, as i have always taken the easier route. But now its my health that is suffering. I had a lovely day out yesterday in the sunshine, which has helped me. I need to have more days that are fun.

I hope that you all find something peaceful this week.

Sorry you've had a tough week, it's such a rollercoaster. There's an interesting thread just started under 'Life after sentencing' where a few have said their BP is up and seems linked to traumatic circumstances we find ourselves in. No wonder so many experience PTSD afterwards :( Please don't doubt your strength, you may not feel it at the moment but you keep going week on week and show up here to help and support others. Even the strongest have limits though and it's ok to get some support/ therapy when you hit a wall. I'm glad you've had a nice day out and hopefully spring sunshine will help us all in the week ahead. Take lots of care and I hope this week is a better one for you x
