I just wanted to give an update on my case for those that are still waiting .

i know every case is different and every county and force is different.

My knock came March 2025 . My Ex gave passwords straight away and the forensics and investigation was completed in December 2025 and the file passed to the CPS.

On Thursday my ex received his charges and has a plea hearing at magistrate court on 17 June . Finally it's moving .

I feel broken all over again . The charges weee what was expecting except the number I was initially told was 6000 and there are just over 9000 . There were beastiality images which was not what I was expecting .

its a first offence , no contact was made , no images were shared , no chat worms , no photos sent to other people .

its been going on for circa 35 years which is why the images are so high and there is cartoon and animae images which they treat the same as they would a real photo as they can't age the fantasy victim .

This is a first offence , my ex paid £1000 to do the Lucy faithful inform course , he is having therapy with a special therapist and we have monitoring app on mine and his mobile phones to stop him looking porn. He hasn't viewed any porn since May 2025 . He was sexually abused aged 13 by 14-15 year old girls and has ADHD which is why I think we found our self in this mess as a family .

th thing I'm really struggling with now is the animals and could we now be looking at a custodial sentence.

thank you for listening.

If you're struggling, it might be worth you doing the inform course for partners (it is free and when I did it there were 2 ex partners on the course).

Other than that, when I see anything written on paper regarding OH's offending, it sends me back to day one. Each time I bounce back more and more quickly.

You're likely in a bit of shock, be kind to yourself and breathe
