Just wondering what the next steps are now OH has been sentenced in regards to social services.

OH was sentenced nearly three weeks ago, 14 months suspended two years, SHPO and SOR 10 years. Devastated that the SHPO has contact restrictions as offence was image based. Trying to figure out if we're able to appeal it as even barrister said the judge was harsh.

Had social services involvement twice since arrest two years ago, once for bail where he wasn't allowed in family home but to follow safety plan and case closed, and one when it was RUI, allowing him home but no unsupervised etc and case closed. he's been living at home with safety plan for the past 7 months, we were with family wellbeing who basically said he needs to leave family home when charges came through in Feb this year as they are concerned about him living with our child. A few days after sentencing we had the first visit from social worker who said she will be doing assessment and for now contact will need to be paused, not even allowed phone calls. My 3 year old is devastated and doesn't understand where daddy has gone :(

is the no contact whilst assessments are done normal at this stage?
Will they go through the sentencing notes and PSR to gather information when doing their assessment? It's been nearly three weeks surely they can't leave it much longer? What could contact be like once assessments are done and maybe having CIN plan or CPP plan? As it's never got to that point with them as of yet.

I have so many questions but don't want to message the social worker incase they feel I'm not putting my daughters safety first
