Hi my ex partner was arrested last September on suspicion of downloading or accessing indecent images of minors or both I'm not to sure we have a 9 year old son together he keeps getting bail does this indicate he may be guilty??? Also I have had very little or rather no information regarding this matter from the police apart from an initial call to inform me my son could no longer stay over at his house and his access to my son should be supervised I have no idea of the nature of the images all I know is that my son was not involved in the images I'm just looking for some advice really
No, the fact that he keeps getting bailed does not indicate guilt. It just means it is taking the police a very long time to examine his devices. That is normal for these offences. It could be 2 years before he finds out if he is going to be charged or not.
In the meantime he will have bail conditions and possibly restrictions on contact with children, which are imposed by social services.
