Hello

I am not sure what to write in this post, a family member was arrested at the beginning of May 2026 for possession of indecent images of children.

I am absolutely devastated by this as I was very close to this person. I have cut all contact with them - I cannot get my head around it at all.

There was mention of some app called "kik" being used but I've no idea what that is.

I have had disclosures made to me by SS due to me having a child who had contact with this person regularly.

I know this person is lying to the one family member who has chosen to maintain contact with them due to the disclosures made to me.

I feel completely lost and helpless, I am currently signed off work, I still haven't been able to tell my child why they can't see this person anymore, and just keep saying they are busy when I'm asked.

I apologise for rambling on here...just lost and broken due to what this person has been accused of.

Hi. I am just over 2 weeks since the bomb dropped in my life. The brother is the offender. I have nieces and nephews and we have told them that Daddy made some really bad choices and that he had to go away and do some work with special people about the choices he made. Also we plan to implement You know the way you have to go on the naughty step or time out etc. well Daddys behaviour meant he has to go on the Big peoples version of that.

Im so sorry that you have found yourself in this hell, Cos that is what it is. Absolute hell.
