My ex husband apparently got a letter saying they're applying to the court to extend the time until the court date, for a year?!

don't really know if there's anything that can be done- is that just it. Does it mean anything about the trial or just more of 'cps is too busy to progress'?

Has he been charged ? Or still waiting for devices to be reviewed which can run for several bail extensions. We've had a few bail extensions now from magistrates, I think after 9 months bail extensions are approved by a magistrates. If charged then its likely cps are still making decisions which the wait can be just as frustrating.

No I don't think charged yet- last time police said they had passed the info to cps and we're just waiting on them. Now they say they're extending. Apparently the solicitor said she can see there's been no movement since the first extension on what they've achieved!
