Hello, I have also put this in the newbies but I wasn't sure where was best.
I am unsure what we are waiting on exactly re a charge. For instance if there are already 40+ "known IIOC" which flagged ...
I have since read on the report they were "known IIOC" and he admitted to using some inapproproate words when searching for porn. But then claims he has done nothing wrong. He is now waiting on forensics
I am just trying to understand whether some kind of charge is therefore inevitable based on this much alone ... or if it doesn't work like that and that may not be enough in itself to charge?

From what I have seen there will be a charge, people have been charged (rightly in my opinion) for 1 image. The actual charge will depend on what they find. Unfortunately it might be a very long way off. My ex was interviewed in November last year and just keeps getting bailed. It's horrible waiting but it appears that over a year seems to be the norm unfortunately.
