My dad has pled guilty (and spared us all a trial) and is waiting for sentencing.

I'm planning to attend, not really to support him but to hear the judges remarks for myself. However, I'm concerned that being the only family member there there's going to be a lot of pressure to remember everything that's said.

Does anyone have experience of requesting court transcripts, and of the costs involved? I don't want to be the only source of truth for the day.



Would also be grateful if anyone could share their experience of what the day might entail - trying to mentally prepare myself.
