This BBC story about a teacher dismissed for misconduct is somewhat concerning because it fails to make clear that disqualification by association is not legal anymore.
The teacher appears to have been dismissed for not disclosing the relationship, even though the school is not allowed to ask if their partner has convictions.
So presumably if they had told the school, then the school could not subsequently dismiss them?
