No second interview?

Husband's lawyer has updated us that his devices have now been checked, and his case has been sent to CPS for a decision, but he hasn't been asked in for a second interview, does this mean its unlikely they've found anything further evidence than what they already had? Was a police sting, he admitted at interview so they have that as minimum.
My ex didn't have a 2nd interview after device was checked. He seemed confident it was a good thing at the time, I was more of the opinion they had what they needed. Which they did. Even to add a charge after CPS got the file.
Similar position and was waiting for a letter about CPS decision, my husband was charged when going to the police station for his bail. Magistrates in 2 weeks, can't wait for all the stress this has caused and live with the outcome whatever it is. Hired a solicitor who has some knowledge and hoping this will help. Know it is still a long road ahead and not sure where I'll be this time next year. Only told our children and praying press will have too much to write about. Social services closed but unsure if this will change after court, if anyone could advise on this and if it's worth writing a character reference.
We didnt have second interview.
We were informed end of March that case sent to cps. Begining of July phone call NFA. So for me it is good sign.

Trist - did your husband get any warning he was going to be charged before going in re bail? Did he have a solicitor present? We're in same situation, it's with CPS for decision but bail due to be extended again next week. Expecting we might face charges then too.
No warning, had been waiting for a letter for some time from CPS as seen from others online here, he went to bail as he had done before and told me he had been charged! No solicitor as wasn't expecting anything other than extended bail. Just under 2 weeks to Magistrates and getting see what happens then, I am looking at writing a character reference and hoping that will help but unsure what to write. Solicitor is currently on annual leave so will contact us next week to discuss next step. Hoping you will be one step nearer to finial outcome as think the wait and unknown is worse than dealing with whatever happens. If there is anything else I can help with please messagex as know how stressful this is with no family support.
Thanks that's helpful and I wonder if we'll have the same experience. Yes good for process to move forward so not in limbo but dreading at same time. Have a search on the forum for character references, can remember seeing some really good posts with detailed advice. Good luck! I imagine the wait for court feels like forever. Likewise if you ever need to offload drop me a message x
